The photographs on this website document the evenings of Marateale – Premio Internazionale, 18th edition, Maratea, 20–25 July 2026.
This page explains who took the photographs, what you may do with them and how to request one. It is written for journalists and for anyone wishing to report on the festival, and it is the address embedded in the data of every single image file.
Who took them
The photographs are by BH Studio – Gianfranco Bernardo, the festival’s official photographer, and were purchased by Marateale. The photo credit must always be shown. The full wording to use is:

It applies in print, online and on social media. Where space is tight, the shortest accepted form is Photo BH Studio: the author’s name may never be dropped.
If you are a journalist or a news outlet
What you may do, without asking anyone
- Publish the photographs to report on the festival: articles, features, reviews, in-depth pieces.
- Use them in print, online, on television and on social media, in Italy and abroad.
- Crop them to fit your layout.
- Do so free of charge and without waiting for a reply: this page is the permission.
On one condition only: the credit. Photo BH Studio – Marateale 2026, legible next to the photograph or in the caption.
What you may not do
- Use them in advertising or to promote a product, a service or a brand.
- Alter them so as to change the meaning of the scene: composites, photomontages, juxtapositions that make the picture say something that did not happen.
- Resell them, transfer them or upload them to stock libraries and paid archives.
- Use them in offensive or defamatory contexts towards the people portrayed.
- Strip out the author and copyright data written inside the file.
Any of these uses requires a written agreement: simply ask at the address below.
How to request a photograph
If you need a high-resolution shot, or a photograph you cannot find here, write to marateale@gmail.com. To get a quick reply, please state:

If you are portrayed in a photograph
If you appear in a picture published here and you want it removed, write to marateale@gmail.com stating the page and the photograph: we will take it down, no questions asked. Some guests have asked that only the images they supplied be used: those requests are respected, and the photographs concerned do not appear on this website.
The data written inside every photograph
Every file is delivered with its information already embedded, following the IPTC standard used by newsrooms worldwide. Anyone who downloads a photograph carries that information along, and layout software reads it automatically:

If you republish a photograph, please do not delete this data: it is the simplest way to keep the attribution intact along the chain of republications.

This page concerns the photographs of Marateale – Premio Internazionale. It does not cover the festival’s logos, posters and graphic materials, nor video footage: for those, please write to the same address. Page published on 6 August 2026; its address will not change over time, as it is embedded in the image files themselves.
