The animated short film *“In The Shadow of the Cypress”* triumphs at the #AcademyAwards: great success for the winner of #MaratealeInShort. The animated short, directed by Shirin Sohani and Hossein Molayemi, won the prestigious #Oscar for Best Animated Short Film. The film had already received recognition at #MaratealeInShort, the short film competition within the @marateale festival – Premio Internazionale, selected by the jury composed of Tarak Ben Ammar, Paride Leporace, and Manuela Rima, thanks to the collaboration of @vocespettacolo and Walter Nicoletti, who handled its distribution. This remarkable achievement confirms the high artistic and narrative value of the short film. “We are proud to have awarded in preview such a high-quality work,” declare the organizers of #Marateale, @nicolatimpone and @marmiria – “The victory at the #Oscar highlights the importance of our commitment to promoting emerging talent and supporting quality cinema.” The short film stands out for its poetic animation and deep storytelling, addressing universal themes with a powerful visual style.
